Yes, the timer continues running in the background when you switch tabs or minimize the browser. The alarm will still sound when the timer completes.
Can I use multiple timers at once?
The current implementation supports one timer at a time. However, you can open multiple browser tabs if you need to run multiple timers simultaneously.
How accurate is the timer?
The timer uses your browser's high-resolution timing APIs and is accurate to within milliseconds. It's suitable for most timing needs including workouts, cooking, and productivity sessions.
What is the Pomodoro technique?
The Pomodoro technique is a time management method using 25-minute focused work sessions followed by 5-minute breaks. After four sessions, take a longer 15-30 minute break. The preset timers include Pomodoro intervals.
Is there a maximum timer duration?
You can set timers up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. This is sufficient for most practical timing needs from quick kitchen timers to long study sessions.
